I adore Hydrangeas, particularly when they begin to change colour in late summer and develop their golden autumn tints. It adds a certain vintage look I just love. There is so much texture to them, with their flowers an foliage, enhanced by the black. I chose to light from above to give a feeling of growth as they reachi for light, signifying optimism.
